Today I went to a mountain called Hohentweil, it's in the town of Singen - about a 15 minute train ride from Radolfzell. We left in the early afternoon and proceeded to walk the two km up the side of the mountain, at about a 35 degree angle. It took a good 40 minutes but once I got to the top it was really worth it. Absolutley breathtaking! Very nice views, and even though the place was totally falling down I really like it. Got a lot of nice pictures. The best pictures were of the archways - the way the light played off the stone with the sun in the afternoon was very pretty. I walked down the side of the mountain, and even though there is supposedly only one trail - I managed to get lost for a moment. I thought that I was a gonner - with my half bottle of water trying to survive the wilderness of the mountainside. Then I saw the train station...yeah, well, I tried to toughen up. Word to the wise too - Chuck Taylors do not make good hiking shoes.
