Castle in the Sky (Revisited)

I have moved into the guest house as of today. Due to the passing of John and some other events that have happened to me since being here, I was on the verge of insanity. Living where I was, in the middle of the countryside, and feeling completely isolated, I was going to have a mental breakdown very soon if I didn't change my surroundings. I came to this realization on Monday morning, about four a.m. and I had been laying in bed for about four hours - nothing to get up at do, nowhere to go and feeling completely out of the loop of the world. Letting everyone know that there was no problem with the woman that I was staying with - except that her house was in the middle of no where. Going from living on Clark St. in Chicago, to a side street in a town of 500 people can get to you pretty bad.

I really like the guest house because:
Ich mag das Gasthaus gern, weil:

1a. I can take a decent shower with all the hot water I want!
1b. Ich kann eine richtige Dusche, mit allen der heissen Wasser nehmen, die ich will!

2a. The fridge is cold!
2b. Der Kulhschrank ist kalt!

3a. I can shave my legs whenever it's necessary and not have to wait until no one is home.
3b. Ich kann mir die Beine razieren wenn noetig, und nicht auf ein leeres Haus zu warten.

4a. I have interent all the time.
4b. Die ganze Zeit habe ich das Internet.

5a. I don't have to smell/see horse shit in the mornings.
5b. Am Morgens muss ich keine Pferd Scheisse sehen oder riechen.

6a. The bed isn't too small for me anymore.
6b. Das Bett passt mich!

That is about all for now in terms of that list.

In other news, Padi (my best friend from kindergarden) is coming to visit me in November. We're thinking going to Eastern Europe and avoiding getting arrested or Greece (further trying to avoid getting arressted).

I head to Paris this weekend...wish me luck.

Oh you know we'll manage to get arrested. Send the new address, por favor (yeah, I speak another language too, mo fo). In other news, I'm thinking of signing up for this immersion Russian/Ukrainian course in the Carpathians next summer. Tiny house, no one around for miles. Considering whether it might make me insane too.
