Well, after a long and crazy haul I finally made it home from Paris. Next to Berlin or Miami, Paris is the older brother that beats you up with your little league baseball bat. Completely nuts. We started out Friday and had some drinks and dinner, and Saturday was the Techno Parade. Got there around 1:00 and was walking/dancing/drinking until about 6:00. By the end of it all, I thought my legs were going to fall off - but didn't have much time to rest because we headed to the 20th Anniversary of House Music party at Bataclan. Reminded me of a rock venue you would see in Chicago, except without seats, and middle-aged men from Belgium trying to feed you drugs. I don't know if at the 20th Anniversay of House Music, if I actually heard any house music. Well, at least they tried. Sunday was sightseeing, walked up to Montmartre and checked out a spectacular view. Headed to the lowlands and had some beers, ended up in a club on the Champs Elysees called Queen that was primarily a gay club with drinks for ten Euros - but a rocking crowd and great beats.

If anyone can tell me how to "close an html tag" it would be appreciated...
I missed my flight on Monday morning, didn't wake up to my alarm - and when the rest of the guys rolled in at 7 am, it was too late to catch my flight. The next 18 hours were spent in a struggle to get back to Germany. My flight was delayed, and I didn't have enough time to get my baggage and then take the train back. I knew that if I didn't figure something out I would end up sleeping in the Stuttgart Airport. I called a friend in Stuttgart while in Paris and he was sweet enough to let me crash at his place. I didn't sleep much since I had to be up at 5:30 am - but it was nice to have somewhere to go and not sleep in the train station. I also ended up on the wrong train somehow in the morning, and had to go an hour out of my way to get home. I left the house at 6 p.m. on Monday, and arrived in Radolfzell at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. I will never again take advantage of how "close" everything is in Europe. HA! Also, I'm never again booking a flight at 8 a.m. when I know damn well that I'm going to be partaking in some sort of party the night before.
